Have you ever gone to an event that just blew your mind? 🤯
For me, that event was Steve Larsen’s “OfferMind” this week.
I spent Monday & Tuesday in Boise learning from Steve, so today I wanted to share some of my big takeaways:
#1 – Business Is Built On Frameworks…
It’s never been more apparent to me that the entrepreneurs that succeed are the ones that understand the “science” of selling online.
Let’s face it:
Marketing and selling have been around for-ev-er…
The principles haven’t changed (even if the “vehicles” have).
Good businesses are built on frameworks.
Frameworks that allow you to:
> Increase the # of customers for your business
> Increase how much those customers spend with you
> Increase the # of times they spend with you (frequency)
If you learn the framework to accomplish those 3 goals, you’ll be just fine as a business owner!
#2 – Focus On The “1’s”…
This was a lesson that I really took to heart as I’ve made this mistake before in my own business.
There are 3 types of traffic for your business:
Cold Traffic aka the 3’s
Warm Traffic aka the 2’s
Hot Traffic aka the 1’s
When you’re launching a new offer, the 1’s…. the die-hard passionates… are going to make your life (and business) easier.
Quit spending time convincing people who are difficult to convince and spend time focusing on the people who are currently using a solution (aka your competitor) yet they’re frustrated with it!
It’ll make selling a lot easier 👍
#3 – Publish Your Face Off…
It was super flattering that I had people come up to me at the event and already know who I was.
I don’t say that to brag, but I say it to highlight a point.
Just a few months ago I was just “another guy” in this online space.
Now that I publish consistently in my Facebook Mastermind, I’m getting known for ONE thing…
…THAT’S the power of publishing:
People start to listen.
Steve said it best:
“If you don’t make any noise, no one will know you’re there.”
Find something you’re good at, you enjoy talking about, and find a place to document your journey.
I don’t care if you’re a cook, an athlete, or a magician…
…find a place to share your voice and your business will grow!
(and you’ll attract wayyyyy more 1’s that you can serve)
OfferMind was a reminder that we as entrepreneurs like to make our lives wayyyyy harder than they need to be.
Go out there.
Do the thing.
Host the webinar.
Share your story.
Create great content.
Get off your ass and share your message with the world 🙂
(and get paid to do it!)
