As promised, I wanted to send you notes throughout
the week as I sit through some phenomenal speakers
at Funnel Hacking Live this year.
Last night, I got the opportunity to attend an “Internet
Marketing Party”…aka a meetup of online geeks who love
to make money and share their knowledge with others.
Dan Henry was the main speaker and I wanna share some
golden nuggets that I picked up from him.
If you haven’t heard of Dan, he’s the crazy dude who went
from pizza boy to internet millionaire REAL QUICK…
The dude is a walking, talking nut case (but that’s what also
makes him super interesting and entertaining to follow).
#1 You have to be polarizing
While Dan may take this one to the extreme (one time he
posted a “d*ck pic” in a public Facebook group), there’s
something to be said about owning and sharing who you are.
Even my favorite entrepreneur in the world – Russell Brunson –
always says that “there’s no money in the middle.”
If you’re just getting started with online business, don’t be afraid
to share your thoughts and opinions about the things you believe in!
When we do that, we create conversation. And conversation
is a key factor in driving SALES.
That doesn’t mean you have to be reckless and go crazy, but
definitely learn how to be yourself and humanize your brand because
at the end of the day humans by from other humans.
#2 Master the “art”
One of the things I hear time and time again from some of the most
successful entrepreneurs is to “ethically steal” from what other
people have done to make it big online.
I 100% agree with this, but it’s only one part of the equation…
Dan confirmed for me that this whole online “game” is both
an ‘art’ AND a ‘science.’ If you wanna win, you need to learn the
systems and blueprints and frameworks (the science) and then
be willing to think outside the box to become an expert artist.
You can copy all you want, but it’s the ‘art’ that’s gonna help you
build a wildly successful company as opposed to a quick buck.
#3 Creativity takes courage
Piggy-backing off of #2… Creativity takes courage!
Go out there without an expectation of what “works” and what doesn’t…
There’s no right or wrong answer when it comes to creating
successful ads unless you TEST.
There’s no secret formula you can learn that will help you stand out.
If you wanna become a creative genius that people trust and buy from,
then take a leap of faith and JUST GO DO STUFF.
I promise you’ll be surprised at your results…
Before I take up your whole afternoon, I wanna ask you this:
What are you doing to take control of your success?
Are you sitting on the sidelines trying to learn all of the tips and tricks?
Or are you taking what you learn from others, applying it, learning
from the process and then refining what you do?
What’s holding you back and WHY are you letting it?
